Research

My research focuses on the opportunities at the intersection of computation and biology: in particular, I am interested in enabling and doing data-intensive biology and biomedicine, where I can design efficient algorithms and build effective tools that help researchers frame relevant hypotheses and validate those hypotheses by collecting and churning biological Bigdata - effectively and efficiently. These algorithms and tools are built using advanced algorithmic techniques including machine learning, randomization, and high-performance computing.

A summary of my research experience so far has been kept here.

I plan to undertake my future research on developing efficient analytical and visualization tools for integrating single cell data to infer and contrast gene expression and regulation across conditions. However, I am open to work on other interesting problems in the broad research area of computational biology and bioinformatics.
