I am an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) in the Area of Social Sciences.
I completed my PhD in Economics from the University of New Mexico, USA in 2018. My dissertation looked at the socio-economic consequences of cancer in developing countries. I am an University Gold Medalist in both my Undergraduate and Post Graduate degrees in Economics.
Prior to joining IRMA, I had worked at various organizations of repute in the capacity of an applied economic researcher. I have worked at IIT- Gandhinagar, National Council of Applied Economic Research, George Washington University, Janaagraha among others.
I have also been a Visiting Faculty at IIIT-Vadodara and at Adani University.
Research Interests: Public financial management, Health Economics, Development Economics, Local governance.
