Biography

I am Soumen Ghosh, a postdoctoral research fellow at the Centre for Advanced Imaging. I did my PhD at The University of Queensland, Australia and currently, my thesis is under review. My doctoral research has been developing machine learning-based approaches for epilepsy using brain MRI and clinical data. I received an MTech degree in Information Technology with machine learning and deep learning as a specialization from the University of Hyderabad, India, in 2016 and an MCA degree from Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, India, in 2013.

I have two years of research experience in the area of computer vision, machine learning and deep learning at IIIT Sri City, Chittoor, India. I have also worked as a Project Assistant at School of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Hyderabad during December 2016 to June 2017.
