Modernism Tour
Activity in Barcelona, visiting important buildings, representatives of Modernist architecture. With a Barcelona Map and an informative leaflet with questions, students have to answer questions with selfies, for example.

QR Contest La Seu Vella
In this activity, students moved inside and outside Lleida's Old Cathedral (La Seu Vella), with the aid of a map, to search for information about different parts of the monument, which appeared when the QR codes were scanned by mobile phones. The students wrote their answers on a paper chart.

Short stories
In this activity, in small groups, each student had previously read a short story. The meeting day, each one explains to the group the story, and after that, the rest of the group should answer the task that the same student explaining has previously prepared. The two last stories have a task consisting of a Kahoot activity (interactive questionnaire competition)

Reading biography
As you may know, when we speak about a “biography” we are talking about the story of somebody’s life. When we deal with a “reading biography”, we will make reference to the relationship a person has had with reading and books along the years.
Everybody has his/her own reading biography because everyone is different and all of us have forged their own personal story with books and reading. The aim of this activity is to share this biography.

Reading a little while every day in class
Activity to promote reading in Institut Joan Solà: "Reading a little while" (Estones de lectura)
We have started a reading activity: Everyday, after recreation time, we dedicate 20 minutes to read the book or comic that everyone has freely chosen. This activity implies all students from 1st to 4th ESO (7th to 10th grades).
