Nanophotonics for future IoT sensors
We are developing novel optical devices for next generation photodetectors, optical sensors, spectrometer and light emitting devices. To realize this, we also focus on the understanding of the resonant effect of metal & semiconductor nanostructures and device design.
Metasurfaces for active wave control
We are designing optical nano-antenna for the unprecedented control of electromagnetic waves. We also target to apply it to develop ultrathin & flexible lens, display (hologram) and beam steerer through the active control of the polarization and wavefronts of light.
Solar energy harvesting and development of optical materials
We are pursuing new technologies for the next generation solar energy harvesting, which feature ultrathin, efficient light absorbing properties with cheap fabrication process.
Silicon photonics
We are designing nano-scaled photonic devices including photodetectors, waveguides, modulators and light emitting devices for the integrated silicon photonics.
