Sonkurt K. Sen

Welcome to my webpage!

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Applied Microeconomics, University of Bonn. My research focuses on understanding the causes of inequalities in educational settings as well as the role of policies, interventions and role models in mitigating these inequalities. 

I received my PhD in Economics from the Institute for Social and Economic Research, University of Essex (2022). I also hold Master in Applied Research in Economics and Business (Applied Economics Track) from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (2017) and BA in Economics and BA in Business Administration from Koc University, Istanbul. (2016)

My current research interests are Economics of Education and Behavioral Economics.
