"Last Friday at the club we were treated to a night with a difference.....Irene Shettle accompanied by Ralph Jordan ..... held a full house captivated with her show about Lucy Broadwood.....it was evident that she knew her subject well ..... What put the icing on the cake for me was to hear her sing songs from the collection, some well known to our audience but other gems that were new to us. This was a well-paced evening ...... a very good night and a show worth seeing. Catch it if you can."
Paul Ryan, Black Diamond folk club, Birmingham.
