Shay Solomon

Welcome to my home page!

I am a Goldstine Fellow at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center (NY).

I have a broad interest in the design and analysis of algorithms and data structures, with a special focus on graph compression problems and dynamic graph algorithms.

Before coming to IBM I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Computer Science Department at Stanford University, hosted by Moses Charikar and Virginia Vassilevska Williams.

Previously I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the School of Computer Science at Tel Aviv University, hosted by Haim Kaplan and Micha Sharirand in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Weizmann Institute of Science, hosted by David Peleg

I was a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Ben-Gurion University, advised by Michael Elkin
