Academic Experiences

I have worked on inter-disciplinary projects that range from epidemic spread networks to information extraction from medical images. My research interests include digital signal processing, medical imaging, machine learning, artificial intelligence, bio-medical engineering, graph theory and stochastic processes. I am eager to work on new collaborative projects pertaining to engineering optimal solutions to bio-medical and medical problems.

I am constantly working on new research projects and mentoring undergraduate ad graduate research students. If you have great coding and analytical skills and are motivated to make a difference in the research community, or gain first hand research experience, email me your resume at: roych@uw.edu. Please include the project name in your email title that you are specifically interested in working.

Currently, I serve on the Technical Committees of IEEE EMBS-BIIP and on IEEE Healthcare and Medical Systems

Here are the EMBS Conference websites for 2016: IEEE EMBC 2016, IEEE ISBI 2016, IEEE SPIN 2016

Additionally, I have served on multiple NSF panels since 2015.
