Research Assistant
Laura Trahms is a junior at the City College of New York, double majoring in psychology and philosophy with a minor in legal studies. Her specific interests are clinical, developmental, and legal psychology, and hopes to one day combine all three in her research. Laura's interests in clinch psychology is one of the reasons she volunteers as a research assistant in the Social Neuroscience and Psychopathology (SNAP) Lab. She works specifically on the social marijuana study and the clinical rejection sensitivity study. In addition to research work in the lab, Laura has also assisted in research for Peter Fraenkel on child sexual assault (CSA) and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). After her undergraduate, Laura plans on pursuing a PhD in clinical psychology, or developmental psychology with a clinical focus. Outside of the lab,
