RARE COLLECTION

This section provides access to rare collection like rare books, manuscripts, rare maps, gazettes, rare paintings etc. 

The Rare Book Society of India is a virtual space for rare book collectors and history enthusiasts to read, discuss, rediscover and download lost books. Materials are sourced from digital libraries such as The Internet Archive, Google Books, Wikipedia and the online collections of various museums around the world.

The Indian Culture Portal is a part of the National Virtual Library of India project, funded by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The portal has been created and developed by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Data has been provided by organisations of the Ministry of Culture.
