RIT BIOMEDICAL MODELING, VISUALIZATION AND IMAGE-GUIDED NAVIGATION LAB Jun. 2018 - PRESENT
--Quantification of Clinical parameters for predicting the clinical decision of having heart attack from the segmentation results obtained from our novel, and memory-efficient (only 0.34 million parameters) architecture in both supervised and semi-supervised manner
--Designing of an efficient deep learning architecture by using feature-weights pruner and specialized regularizer for penalizing the cost function
--Correcting misalignment of 3D cardiac slices using both manual and automatic approaches
--Technologies include: Pytorch, Tensorflow, LASSO, DenseNet, U-Net, group-convolution
--Techniques include: Disentanglement for MR image reconstruction, visualization, modeling, performance evaluation and validation toward the full-quantification of clinical parameters up-to image-guided navigation
Research Assistant
RIT INTEGRATED NEURO-IMAGING (INI) LABORATORY Jan. 2018 to May 2018
- Measured the Cortical thickness of hemispheric asymmetry in the primary motor and visual cortex by using the high-resolution T1 -weighted 3D image (MPRAGE) acquired on patients with carotid occulus disease (n=29, age=74 +/- 10 years) using Freesurfer tool.
- Languages/Platforms used: Python, FreeSurfer
Teaching Assistant
- RIT IMGS.111.01 - IMAGING SCIENCE FUNDAMENTALS Aug. 2017 to Dec. 2017
- Course: Fall 2017, IMGS-111 Imaging Science Fundamentals By Dr. Anthony Vodachek
- Author homework assignments
- Exploration of the fundamental physics of imaging science, the component processes, and hardware common to imaging systems of the past, present, and future.
-Imaging systems studied include the human visual system, consumer and entertainment applications (e.g., color, digital photography, television, virtual reality); medical applications; xerography, and systems used in remote sensing and astronomy (e.g., multi-spectral ground-and satellite-based observatories).
