Expert group
For the Smart Appliances project an expert group was established to review the deliverables that were produced by the project team. The members of the expert group were:
- Dr. Giancarlo Guizzardi: Head of the Ontology and Conceptual Modeling Research Group (NEMO), Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), Computer Science Department, Brazil; Collaborator at Laboratory for Applied Ontology (LOA), Institute of Cognitive Science and Technology, Italian National Research Council (ISTC-CNR), Trento, Italy
- Prof. Dr. Frank van Harmelen: Head of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning group, in the VU University Amsterdam
- Dr. Andreas Sayegh: Senior Scientist at Deutsche Telekom (DT), Chair of HGI’s Smart Home Task Force, and key architect of DT’s Qivicon system, one of the world’s first functional open M2M systems
- Dr. Lindsay Frost: Chief Standardization Engineer at NEC, HGI Board Member, and experienced contributor and work group leader in ETSI (ex-chair of ETSI TISPAN WG5)
- Ms. Patricia Martigne: Smart Home, Smart City & M2M Standardization Manager at France Telecom, ETSI M2M WG1 chair, and contributing member to HGI Smart Home
- Dr. Markus Eisenhauer: Department Head of User-Centred Computing bei Fraunhofer FIT, coordinator of the FP6-IP Project Hydra (and many follow up projects).
- Dr. Jérôme Euzenat: senior research scientist (directeur de recherche) at INRIA Grenoble Rhône-Alpes, France. Lead the Exmo team associated with the Laboratoire d'informatique de Grenoble. Teaching knowledge representation at the Joseph Fourier and INP University of Grenoble.
- Dr. Susan Schwarze: Director Standards at ProSyst Software and serves on the Board of Directors of the OSGi Alliance
- Dr. Marten J van Sinderen: Associate professor at the Information Systems (IS) group in the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS) of the University of Twente (UT). Research is embedded in the Centre for Telematics and Information Technology (CTIT)
- Enrico Scarrone: Manager at Telecom Italia, ETSI SmartM2M member and reporter on related documents.
- Thomas Kessler: Deutsche Telekom, ETSI SmartM2M member and reporter on related documents.
