Service Price Sheet January  2024

Prices do not include sales tax or any additional materials necessary to complete repairs as material prices are in flux.

Please note machining, drilling, threading, and cutting operations are sometimes permitted by the government, depending on the job..

Please note if I receive a firearm for transfer and you fail the background check there is a $150.00 charge as I'm stuck with your denied purchase. 

I will no longer accept shipped in transfers from non licensed persons; You really should to go through a FFL.

Firearms for transfer from private parties will be charged $10.00/day storage fees,

The same charges apply to guns repaired per week that are not picked up.

All payments for work/ transfers are cash only, unless I agree to accept a check- no credit/ debit cards. 

Cleaning Services

 

Disassemble, degrease all metal parts, wash / wax woodwork, relubricate, reassemble the gun.

Sight work

 

Bore sight gun- $35.00

Bore sight and test fire- $65.00 +cost of ammo/ targets (Magnums will increase this cost.)

Drill and tap gun for sights/scope mounts - $35.00 per hole + materials consumed.

PLEASE NOTE- Due to current difficulty in getting ammo or components I would prefer you supply the ammo

to be used to sight in your gun. 

Install front ramp sight (sweat on or screw mounted) - $60.00 + materials consumed.

Install front & mid rib sights on a shotgun (doesn’t include cost of sights) - $45.00

Install colored insert in front pistol sight blade- $42.00 + materials

Install rear receiver sight

·                    Gun factory drilled and tapped- $35.00

·                    Gun not drilled/tapped- $35.00/ hole + consumed matrl’s

Install new scope (customer provided), mounts, rings, and bore sight

·                    Gun factory drilled/tapped- $40.00

·                    Not drilled and tapped- $35.00/ hole plus materials consumed. 

Highlight sights with glow paint- $20.00

Replace broken/missing dovetail sights- $42.00 plus cost of replacement sight/ matrl’s

Remove existing and install Williams Firesights on rifle/shotgun- $42.00 + cost of new sight set and materials consumed.

Cut a new dovetail sight slot in a barrel/action- $75.00

 

Action work

 

Remove stuck, fired round from chamber-$42.00/ hr

Remove stuck, live round from chamber- $65.00/hr

Remove obstruction from barrel- $65.00/hr

Remove fouling from barrel/cylinder- $45.00/hr + materials consumed.

Install, fit and adjust an aftermarket trigger on your action- $50.00-85.00 (depends on the type of trigger.)

Strip polish and re-blue a barreled action*

Sandblast/ spray w/ an epoxy finish $225.00

Repair/replace broken parts- $42.00/hr +parts & shipping

Cut, square and re-crown a barrel- $95.00 + Materials consumed.

Reassemble guns that were brought in disassembled- $42.00/hr plus any damaged parts/s&h

Remove broken/ frozen screws from action- $42.00/hr + matrls consumed

Remove broken/ stuck ramrod from barrel

·                    Flintlock- $55.00*

·                    Caplock- $55.00*

* If you messed with it and caused extra work this price is a base cost subject to increase by hours of labor involved.

Remove stuck ball and or blackpowder round from

·                    Flintlock- $42.00/ hour + matrls.

·                    Caplock- $42.00/ hr + matrls.

·                    If you messed with it or  it's loaded $55.00/hr

Adjust set trigger assemblies- $45.00

Stock work

 

Install a barreled action into a semi finished stock(Boyds, Fajen), and shape the stock and final sand for application of stain/finish- $285.00

·                    Hunter style finish, stained, unfilled oil, lacquer, polyurethane on stock, $175.00 + materials

·                    Gunsmith finish, filled, rubbed oil finish- $325.00

·                    Sprayed on finish- $135.00

Convert/ recut checkering and reseal- $42.00/hr + materials.

Replace and grind to fit a new recoil pad on a rifle/shotgun- $40.00 + pad/shipping

Cut down stock, and fit a new recoil pad/ butt plate- $75.00 + pad/ shipping if not stocked

Repair split/crack in stock- $45.00/hr + materials

Repair stripped screw hole and reinstall the screw- $65.00 + materials consumed.

Remove polish and refinish Brass work on a Muzzleloader- $42.00/hr + matrls

Replace missing wood on damaged stock and refinish- $45.00/hr + materials

 

Other work as quoted or Hourly rate of $42.00/ hour; $60.00 while hand fitting parts.

 

Any jobs not listed will be performed at $42/hr plus materials consumed; Machine work add $20/ hr.
