Dr. Alicia Yee
I completed my PhD from Monash University, Australia, investigating short apnoeas and periodic breathing during sleep in preterm infants. As an avid fan of sleep, I would love for everyone to sleep soundly and enjoy the benefits of sleep. Other than sleeping, I do research on sleep and cognition in children with the sleep and health lab.
Tiffany Koa
While at the lab, I collect and analyse behavioural and neuroimaging data. My background is in psychology and cognitive neuroscience, and my interests include memory and learning, and the impact of sleep on cognition. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching TV shows and sleeping. I take my naps very seriously.
Toby Seah
Greetings! I am a former social worker turned researcher. I graduated from the National University of Singapore with a B.Soc.Sci in Psychology, Social Work and a minor in Philosophy. I am involved in data collection (behavioural and neuroimaging metrics) and statistical analyses in the lab. My research focuses on physical activity and sleep. I enjoy watching the sunrise.
Chong Hwee Min
I am a psychologist at KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH) specialising in diagnostic assessments and interventions for neurodivergent preschool children. My research is dedicated to applying behavioural and implementation science methods to design and improve access to early childhood sleep and mental health interventions. When I am not at work or buried in my research, I am likely in the kitchen cooking up a storm or attempting to sneak in a nap.
Audrey Kusnadi
Having done my postgraduate studies in Cognitive Neuropsychology at the University of Edinburgh, my interests at the lab include sleep effects on cognitive functions, particularly working and prospective memory. I help with data collection and analyses between peak hours and attempt to play my guitars afterwards.
Lin Dian
I am responsible for the collection of behavioural and sleep data and follow-up analyses. I graduated from the National University of Singapore with a B.Soc.Sci in Psychology and Chinese Studies. My research interests revolve around adolescent behaviour, motivation and morality. In my free time, I enjoy playing games and watching movies.
Ahlem Dorgham
Hi, I’m Ahlem! I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Life Sciences from Yale-NUS College (Class of 2024). I’m interested in how sleep affects neurobehavioral and cognitive functions, as well as the genomics of sleep disorders and their association with cognitive performance and psychiatric conditions. Ironically, my overnight shifts deepened my appreciation for sleep (yes, studying it often means sacrificing it!). Now, I love asking others about their chronotype and sleep quality. When I’m not in the lab, I enjoy reading, learning new languages, and social dancing.
