Bootstrap proof of first order transitions?

A phase transition must be first-order if there is no CFT with the needed symmetry properties. We discuss two known first-order transitions (3-state Potts model in 3d, and a class of antiferromagnetic transitions identified long ago by Mukamel and Krinsky) and what it would take to get a bootstrap proof of this fact.
