About Our Organization

Skull and Mortar Honorary Service Association (SAM)

is the service organization of the USC School of Pharmacy, serving both our school and community while promoting the highest standards of the pharmacy profession.  SAM is one of the oldest and the most active organizations in USC School of Pharmacy.  Our motto is “Servitium Ex Animo” which means “Serve from the Heart.” 

We offer numerous community service events to reflect variety of our members’ interests.  These activities help in the development of communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills that are essential in our profession. Here is a sample of a few events you may participate in as a SAM member:
