About Ms. Milroy

Background:

I grew up in International Falls, Minnesota, a town so cold it is known as the "Icebox of the Nation."

As an exchange student in high school, I spent one year living in Vasa (Vaasa), Finland.

As a young adult, I spent a summer working in London, England.

In college, I majored in education and minored in anthropology. My favorite subjects were human evolution and osteology.

Working at Skinner School!

Raising my two awesome kids.

Giving the speech at my college graduation.

Earning a master’s degree.

What inspired you to become a teacher?:

I was lucky to have many wonderful teachers when I was growing up, who made teaching look fun and exciting.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?:

Learning new things. The more I teach, the more I learn, and I love sharing that knowledge with others.
