For those familiar with Boggle (tm) from Hasbro (tm), the rules for Hexoggle will be familiar: find as many words of three letters or more within the allotted time. The difference here is that Hexoggle uses a hexagonal layout of letters instead of squares, hence there are no diagonal links - every link is a side of a hexagon.
To play, simply swipe to form words - touch-down on the first letter of a word, swipe through hexagons to form words, then touch-up on the last letter to submit. The dictionary is SOWPODS-based, so we don't pretend "bad" words don't exist.
Another way to form words is to tap (touch-down and touch-up) adjacent letters to form a word. A second tap on the last letter of a word submits that word. A second tap on the first letter of a word cancels the current word. A second tap on any other letter of the word trims the current word back to that letter.
If a submitted word is found in the dictionary, you receive positive audio feedback, and the word is added to the list on the left and your score increases depending on the length of the word (if you duplicate a word, your score remains unchanged). The current word selection is cleared to make room for your next word.
If the submitted word is not found in the dictionary, you receive negative audio feedback and the current word remains selected so that you can make changes to it. Tap on the first letter to cancel the word altogether.
