The first talk on navigating difficult conversations in the exam room deals with concepts that are key to understanding the following talks.

The second talk in the series discusses how to establish empathy in a conversation. Empathy is the key to successful conversations.

The third talk in the series explores how to address sensitive and conflicting ideas with your conversation partner. You cannot change someone's mind for them. Only they can change their mind. These techniques may help facilitate critical thinking in your partner about their own positions. 

In the fourth talk, we address some common negotiation techniques. We then consider how best to handle situations that involve anger, especially when the anger is directed towards you or your staff.
