Italian 1 is the first level in your language sequence. This course is a commencement level course in line with New York State Checkpoint A standards. Upon successful completion of this course you will have earned the basic language credit for graduation. However, you must still complete the entire sequence (Italian 2 & 3) in order to earn the necessary credit towards earning an advanced New York State Regents diploma.
Students must take a final exam at the end of the year in addition to the successful completion of the course and mandatory attendance.
