Accommodation

Accommodation between June 26 and June 29 is available to SIROCCO participants at the following special nightly rate (including breakfast):

rough exchange rates as of March:     1 EUR = 4 PLN,    1 USD = 3 PLN

To reserve a room at the Hotel Hilton, please fill in this form (PDF, DOC) and return it by e-mail directly to the hotel by May 15 at the latest, as indicated. The hotel will try to cater to your needs (smoking/non-smoking, 1 or 2 beds, etc.), whenever possible.

Please note that the hotel will charge the payment for the entire stay from your credit card directly after the reservation has been made.

If you would like to share a room with another conference participant, please let the organizers know by e-mail - we will try to help.

Other hotels

A selection of hotels in the city center of Gdansk and its vicinity can be found using the Trivago comparison website. Prices start from 150PLN / night. Hotels with an 80+ rating are usually worth recommending, within their class.

Note:  Open'er Festival 2011, a major European musical event, will take place in the Gdansk area directly after SIROCCO. This may affect hotel prices, so it's advisable to book early. (The event may also potentially be of interest to conference participants who are fans of rock and similar music - Coldplay, Prince,....)
