The Goodness of Creation Is The Goodness of its Innermost Point
By the Et את of G-d His light is revealed in measure, in order that it may create sight. It is in this manner, through this Et את, that G-d is with Jacob. G-d's all כל is given faithfully to Jacob to bless and keep him unto the ends of the earth and to return him to his point of origin, where all the Land of Israel was folded into one point beneath his head, as he rested, waiting upon G-d. It is because of this point that all the families of the earth will be blessed through Israel.
The goodness of heaven and earth was not first their own goodness. It was not heaven and earth which attached themselves, out of their own goodness, to the goodness of the creative hand of G-d's word. It was first G-d's goodness by which the point of His Shekinah was with Jerusalem, between the cherubim above the mercy seat before the foundation of the world. It was the point of G-d's merciful light existing in the very heart of the Word of G-d, the source of all goodness, which G-d called forth by his commandment into creation, when he commanded, "Let there be light!" And so this point of light and goodness which was before creation became an active aspect of creation itself, a created point, from which all the days of creation unfolded.
It is to there that G-d will faithfully return Jacob. Therefore I will rejoice with Jerusalem. I will sing with Israel, for the goodness of the good point in all things is this, that G-d is with that point. Therein is our goodness to be found. For the good point in every soul is good because it is called to return to this good point in creation, this good point that G-d is with, the good point upon which Jerusalem is built.
