I am an applied microeconomist currently working as a Research Fellow at the United Nations University - World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER). I am also a Research Affiliate at Households in Conflict Network (HiCN).

My research interests are development economics, applied microeconomics, applied econometrics, and experimental economics.

My current research broadly falls into three areas: (1) accumulation of health and education; (2) political economy of development; and (3) experimental economics. More details about my research interests and activities can be found on my Research Page and on my CV.

I received a PhD in Economics from the University of Southern California in 2013. I also have a Masters in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics

From September 2018, I will be joining Lancaster University as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Economics.
