School Kit (LWR)

2 notebooks (8 1/2x11) ruled-total 150-200 sheets (70 x 3)

1 blunt scissors

1 30 cm metric ruler

1 pencil sharpener

6 unsharpened #2 pencils with erasers tied w/rubber band

1 2 ½ inch eraser

12 sheets construction paper (assorted)

1 box crayons, 16 or 24

1 12x14” bag w/handles

Items should be new. Remove packaging, put items in bag, fold handles over and secure with 2 rubber bands or tie w/yarn

Sewing Kit (LWR)

3 yds of cotton or cotton blend fabric, 44” or 45”

1 pkg. hand sewing needles (10-15)

1 spool matching thread (300 yds)

6 buttons to match fabric (½” to ⅝”)

Wrap all items in fabric and tie with string, yarn, or strip of fabric

Sewing Fabric (LWR)

Fabric can be sent by itself as in the sewing kit.

Layettes (LWR)

2 shirts or onesies

2 gowns or sleepers (w or w/o feet)

2 receiving blankets

4 cloth diapers

1 sweater or sweatshirt (open front)

2 washcloths

1 bath-size bar of Ivory soap (4-5oz)

2 diaper pins

Can vary the size up to 24 month.

Diapers may be made using pinking shears & zig zag edges (25” x 27”)

Wrap in receiving blanket and secure w/diaper pins

Health Kit (LWR)

1 hand towel – dark color

1 wash cloth –dark color

1 bar soap, bath size

6 bandaids, ½” to ¾ “, rubber banded

1 adult size toothbrush, in wrapper

1 comb, wide tooth

1 metal nail file or clipper w/file

Wrap small items in wash cloth, then everything in towel and tie with ribbon
