I am a graduate student in Information & Systems Engineering at Concordia University. I am a member of the Canada Excellence Research Chair (CERC) in Smart, Sustainable, and Resilient Communities and Cities as well as the Ptidej team. I am fortunate to be supervised by Prof. Ursula Eicker and Prof. Yann-Gaël Guéhéneuc.
My research focuses on integrated resource management and the optimisation of complex smart-building networks. Application areas include Smart Cities and Grids, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Transactive Energy. I am presently developing an IoT framework, CityData, for monitoring and controlling various flows in Next-Generation Cities.
I hold a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, Pakistan, where I was advised by Dr. Zeshan Iqbal. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication and Networks from COMSATS University Islamabad, where I was mentored by Dr. Khalid Ibrahim and Dr. Farrukh Zeeshan.
