I am a member of CERC in Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Communities and Cities, Concordia University, Montreal. My current research focuses on designing and implementing an IoT framework for monitoring and controlling various flows in Next-Generation Cities.  

My research interests primarily focus on the integrated resource management & optimization of complex smart-building networks. Application areas of current interest include Smart Cities & Grids, the Internet of Things, and Transactive Energy. 

I did my Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Engineering & Technology, Taxila, Pakistan, advised by Dr. Zeshan Iqbal. I did my four years bachelor's degree in Telecommunication & Networks from COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan, advised by Dr. Khalid Ibrahim and Dr. Farrukh Zeeshan.
