My group has multiple openings for fully-funded Ph.D. positions starting in Fall 2024. Selected candidates will be working with me on the following topics:
Dynamics, Control, and Stability of Large-Scale Inverter-Based Power SystemsÂ
Analysis and Control of Nonlinear and Hybrid Dynamical SystemsÂ
Data-Driven Decision-Making in Networked Dynamical Systems
Competitive candidates are self-motivated and have strong mathematical skills. Desirable qualifications include background in one of the following areas: dynamical systems, mathematical analysis, control theory, optimization, learning theory, power systems, and power electronics. On Aug 21, 2023, the application cycle opens for the Provost's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program at Johns Hopkins, designed to create strategic pathways to STEM faculty positions for scholars from underrepresented groups.
