Welcome to my home page.

I'm an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science, Department of Information and Computing Sciences at Utrecht University, the Netherlands and the Director of the Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, and Information Science Master's degree programs since January 2022.

From September 2017 to November 2022, I was an Assistant Professor at Utrecht University, the Netherlands and from April 2015 to September 2017 I was a Lecturer at the same university. From January 2013 to April 2015, I've worked as an Assistant Professor in Information Systems and Enterprise Modelling at the Institute for Computer Science and Business Information Systems, Chair of Information Systems and Enterprise Modelling at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. From November 2009 to November 2012, I've worked as an Assistant Professor in (Web-based) Information Systems Engineering and Service Engineering at the Faculty of Technology, Policy, and Management, Section of Information & Communication Technology at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. From November 2008 to November 2009, I’ve worked as a postdoc at Delft University of Technology. I started with my Ph.D. research at e-office in cooperation with the Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands in May 2005 and I obtained my Ph.D. in April 2009.
