Fairtrade Fortnight 2017: 27 February - 12 March
All events are open to everyone.
We have a busy programme for Fairtrade Fortnight, with events happening across Sidmouth - please join us!
Saturday 4 March
10.30 am, Sidmouth Library: Fairtrade poster competition prize-giving, with Fairtrade refreshments.
Posters will be on display in the library throughout Fairtrade Fortnight.
Sunday 5 March
9.15 am, Methodist Church Hall: Fairtrade Breakfast.
Thursday 9th MarchVisit by Fairtrade farmers from Kuapa Kokoo, Ghana
(suppliers of cocoa for Divine chocolate)
12 midday, Waitrose store: Fairtrade chocolate tasting “Meet the Cocoa Farmer”
2.30 pm, Kennaway House. “Meet the Cocoa Farmer” presentation. With Fairtrade stalls and refreshments.
"Take a Fairtrade Break"!
This year's theme is "Take a Fairtrade Break", and we are encouraging as many people as possible to take part. Why not join in by organising a tea/coffee break with Fairtrade refreshments in your school, workplace, club or society? It's easy to do and really helps to raise awareness.
