The Crow Roadie is a track that runs from Lundie down to Thriepley, near the round Loch. This walk description starts from the village hall at Lundie.
From the village hall continue to follow the road until an obvious track appears on the right.
Head along the track to the Thrieply road. The way is obvious though it can get a bit overgrown at times. Where in doubt, go straight on (bearing right).
When you reach the Thriepley road turn left and follow for a few hundred meters to the tracks that lead up to the left. Head up the farm track just before the Round Loch past Easter Keith and Wester Keith, then follow the path around the west end of Long Loch to the base of the Lundie Craigs escarpment.
Listen out here for stonechats, ravens and buzzards.
From here follow the path to the left along the base of the slope. This will bring you to Ardgarth Loch, which may not be immediately obvious as it is very overgrown and doesn't look like a loch but is very damp.
Follow counterclockwise around the loch to a gate. There are rough paths that will keep you up above the myre, don't be tempted to take the short cut unless you like wet feet or have waders.
Go through the gate and bear left up over the brow - you are heading for a clearly visible stand of mature trees in a dell. You will see a gate at the end of the dell.
Take the path through the gate. The track leads down to the farm, and from here bear left onto the track which then leads to Lundie. A nice circular walk or challenging off road cycle passing 4 small lochs.
