Current position
I am Associate Professor at the IMT School for Advanced Studies in Lucca (Italy).
I am also member of the Danish Centre for Motivation and Behaviour Science (DRIVEN) and of the Game Science Research Center.
Previous positions and education
I have been Associate Professor and Head of the Microeconomics Research Group at the Department Economics at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), Odense, Denmark, from 2018 to 2022, where I served in the "Gender Equality Committee" at the Faculty of Social Sciences (SDU) and was member of the study-board for the master program in "Business, Language, and Culture".
Previously, I was Assistant Professor at the Department of Business and Economics at at the University of Southern Denmark , Odense, Denmark (February 2017/April 2018), Assistant Professor at the Department of Public Health at the University of Southern Denmark (February 2017/October 2017), and post-doctoral fellow at COHERE (Department of Business and Economics) at the University of Southern Denmark (October 2014/ February 2017).
In 2012/2014, I have been post-doctoral fellow at European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics (ECARES), Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium.
I received my PhD in Economics and Management from the University of Trento (Italy) in 2011 and a MSc (summa cum laude) and a BSc in “Economics and Management of Complex Systems” from Ca’Foscari University (Italy) in 2005 and 2004 respectively.
Visiting positions
I have been visiting scholar at "Universitá Bicocca" (Milano, Italy) in the AY 2021/2022 and visiting Phd student at Technion (Israel) in the AY 2010/2011.
