Welcome!

I am Sibilla Di Guida, Associate Professor & responsible for the "third mission" at the IMT School of Advanced Studies in Lucca, Italy.

I was previously Associate Professor and Head of the Microeconomics Research Group at the Department of Economics at the University of Southern Denmark (Odense, DK). 

I am member of the Danish Centre for Motivation and Behaviour Science (DRIVEN) and of the Game science Research Center.

I am a passionate fencing player and I practiced this sport since the age of seven.

I was the runner-up in the 2024 Italian National Championship (Master category 1, sword) singles event and the champion in the team event. I was the 2014 Belgian National Champion (sword) and the Jysk-Fynsk champion in 2016-2019 (sword) and 2017 (foil). 

I have been a member of the Italian junior team and participated in several international competitions.

Sword is my specialty.

I have a profound interest in archaeology, born in childhood and still alive and kicking.

I am also an avid reader.

I am married and I have two lovely kids: a son named Guglielmo and a daughter named Costanza.
