Jie Shuai (帅杰) is a Professor of Economics at the Wenlan School of Business, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, China. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oklahoma in 2009. His primary research interests focus on pricing, market structure, advertising, and information economics. His work has been published in renowned academic journals, including Marketing Science, Games and Economic Behavior, Economic Theory, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Journal of Industrial Economics, Journal of Economics & Management Strategy, among others.

He currently serves as an Associate Editor for Information Economics and Policy and is a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Media Economics.
