Trophy & Acknowledgements

The trophy is a gift of the Donahoe family. It is made of mouth blown, hand-cut Nova Scotia crystal. For that reason, the trophy does not travel. We do present the winning team with a photograph of themselves with the trophy and of course the names of the winners are engraved on the trophy. The winners' picture will also be added to the website at left.

The Cup is classic and elegant, like (we hope) the tournament itself. Like glass blowing, debating success depends on chance and skill, and is also an ancient art.
