I am currently a senior scientist, working on Big Data and Machine Learning Astronomy, at Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute. I received my PhD from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst under the supervision of Prof. Daniela Calzetti. Then, I continued my postdoc careers at NOAO, UT Austin, and KIAS.

My recent research is mainly focused on persistent homology of astronomical Big Data point clouds.

You can find the details about me on the "Research", "CV", and "My Data Blogs" tabs.

About my personal life, I am a hard-core music addict, exploring all genres from heavy metals to classical musics. I am also a hobby guitar player with sloppy hands, but with shiny equipments, Gibson ES-339 and Fender Stratocaster.
