in Mercia Community Fire Station on Lichfield Street, Tamworth
Like to join us? Contact us, or just turn up on a Friday evening. 
You will be made welcome.
Open to young people from age 13 and adults with no upper age limit.
Younger children are welcome accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. 

Every Friday 7.00pm & finish at 8.45pm
This group is open to all.

What does Shoebox Theatre do? 
Act, tell stories, devise plays, make short films.
  We can provide drama activities for any age group or age mix
in your school or community group; 
residential and day care

  • April Lunch & Playreading Today, April 11th, a small group came together to have a natter over buffet lunch, then read Duet for Two hands - a very scary play by Mary Hayley Bell, about a man who is given a new pair of hands donated  by a dead man, and surgically attached by a surgeon who is at the forefront with his revolutionary medical procedures, and who is looking forward to being able to graft a face on a patient. Considering this play was written and performed in the 1940s, it was very much ahea  d of its time.   • March Fundraising Buffet Lunch & Play Reading Tuesday March 14th, from 12.30pm at a private home in Tamworth. This is one of our regular fund-raising events which begins with an  informal  buffet lunch, in a small friendly group, followed by a relaxed play reading. This month it will be a comedy. If you fancy joining us email us for further details and to book:   Minimum donation for lunch £3 per person.
