Short bio: 

Seong Hwan Kim received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Korea University, Seoul, Korea, in 2006 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea, in 2008 and 2013, respectively. During Aug. 2013 - Feb. 2016, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Broadband Communications Laboratory, McGill University, Montreal, Canada. During Mar. 2016 - Feb. 2020, he was an assistant professor at the Department of Information and Communication Engineering of Gyeongsang National University, Tongyeong, Korea. Since Mar. 2020, he has been working as an associate professor at the major of Data Science in Korea National University of Transportation, Uiwang-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea.

His research interests include radio resource management,  Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, etc.

I am looking for motivated students who are interested in artificial intelligence or communications research. 

Successful candidates will receive financial support through participation in research projects in our lab and scholarships for outstanding graduate students from Korea National University of Transportation. These cover full tuition fees and monthly living allowance.
