About me

I am an associate professor in the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Clemson University. Before coming to Clemson, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Inverse Problems Research Group of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Helsinki, Finland. I received my Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics from the University of Virginia in 2011 under the supervision of Professor Roberto Triggiani.

Research Interests

My main research interests are in the field of inverse problems and control theory for partial differential equations and their applications. I also have broader interests in analysis and applied mathematics in general such as dynamical systems and mathematical physics.

Education

Ph.D. Mathematics, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, USA, 2011

M.S. Mathematics, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, USA, 2008

B.S. Mathematics, Nankai University, Tianjin, China, 2006

CBMS Conference on Inverse Problems and Nonlinearity

Along with my colleague Jeong-Rock Yoon, we are organizing a CBMS Regional Research Conference on Inverse Problems and Nonlinearity at Clemson June 3--7, 2024. Please go to this website to find more information about the conference and how to register.
