I am a Professor at Keio University. I am currently a Collaborative Researcher at the National Institute for Japanese Language and Linguistics (NINJAL), and the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. My research interests lie in phonetics/phonology, variation, sociolinguistics, and corpus linguistics.
