Another Blooming Sheila!

Another Blooming Sheila!

An autobiography

vol 1

by Sheila Hunter

Sheila Hunter (née Macdonald), spent her first years growing up in Ngakawau, a timber town on the North West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand.

Her beloved father, although belittled by his wife Mabel, Murdoch Macdonald was a brilliant Engineer and built all sorts of mining and Timber equipment, including converting a tractor to a Locomotive and developing and Patenting a guy rope, pulley system to access tall trees in very steep valleys with minimal destruction. This system was used world wide, may still be, and was able to deliver full trees to the mill on the floor of the valley with safety and ease.

This takes the story through The Depression and up to the beginning of the adventures that started with her marriage.
