Team Leader
Dr. Shashi Bhushan Singh has been working as an associate professor in the Department of Physical Science at IISER Berhampur, India, since 2017. I received my Ph.D. in 2010 from Pune University, India. Later, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. C. N. R. Rao's group at JNCASR, India. In 2012, I joined as a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. W. F. Pong's group (synchrotron X-ray spectroscopy), Tamkang University, Taiwan. In 2014, I joined IISER Bhopal as a DST INSPIRE Faculty Fellow.
My research focused widely on the growth of Nanomaterials, 2-dimensional layer materials and hybrid nanostructure materials; correlation of material properties with electronic and atomic structure using Raman and X-ray spectroscopy techniques; utilization of materials for energy storage device, SERS substrate, and spintronics.
