Academic Journey

I did my schooling at Carmel Convent English Medium School, Raigarh (C.G.) affiliated under ICSE Board, from Kindergarten to 5th Standard.

I continued my schooling at O.P. Jindal School, Raigarh (C.G.) affiliated under CBSE Board, from 6th to 12th Standard.

In 9th Standard, I was awarded First Prize at National Level Essay Writing Competition on "Petroleum Conservation" among students in Standards 9th & 10th by the Government of India.

I appeared for my 10th Board Examinations in 2003 under the CBSE Board and secured 81.6%.

I appeared for my 12th Board Examinations in 2005 under the CBSE Board and secured 89.4%, thereby coming 1st in my school and in the top 0.1% students in Raigarh district. I also scored 100% marks in Informatics Practices and thus was awarded a Certificate of Merit for being among the top 0.1 % of successful candidates by Central Board of Secondary Education.

I am a Graduate in Information Systems from BITS Pilani University. My CGPA is 9.03 / 10.0 . I have also been an A-grader in all of my Core subjects viz. Computer Programming 1, Computer Programming 2, Discrete Structures for Computer Science, Data Structures & Algorithms, Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Structure of Programming Languages.

Teaching Assistant (Computer Programming 2 and Artificial Intelligence)

• Responsible for developing course work and tutoring junior undergraduate students. Also conducted evaluated labs and extra doubt solving sessions.

Awards and Achievements

• Secured Third Position in Quark’08 Online Programming Contest (QOPC), a national level programming contest in February 2008.
• Finalist in Codathlon, a national level programming, networking and reverse engineering contest conducted at Techfest 2008, the annual Technical Festival of IIT Bombay.
• Secured Second Position in the event Lines of Code in Quark’07. The event was an all-day Coding event in which expertise in various fields of computers was tested.
• Secured First Position in the event Digital Diagnostics in Quark’07. The event was to design an IC Recognizer and Tester.
• Secured Second Position in the event Innova in Quark’07. The event was to make a Rain Water Harvesting Plan for the college.
