Individuals who study and practice the many forms of the Martial Arts in time collect several unique weapons including swords, spears, bo staffs, short sticks, knives, etc.. Moving these weapons about can become cumbersome. Storing them or packing them in a vehicle can be challenging. The MULTIWEAPON came about as a result of two Shaolin Martial Art students observing people carry their many weapons in for practice and concluding how nice it would be if some of those weapons with a few basic pieces could be combined together to convert into many different weapons and be packed into a small bag that would fit even in the smallest cars.
Master Gordon Burkett and Ray McKenney with the help of Lee Lynn Machining Company in Carlisle, KY are coordinating their efforts to develop the MULTIWEAPON. The MULTIWEAPON is made of aluminum tubing for strength, durability and lighter weight. The exterior is then powder coated in black and red giving the pieces a beautiful finish. The basic package includes 7 individual small pieces that can be screwed together to form 6 different weapons including the Kwan Do, Spear, Sword, Knife, Short Stick, and Bo Staff. As you can see, several additional weapons could be formed with some simple adapters. The MULTIWEAPON is the Shaolin version of the Swiss Army Knife.
Shown below are the individual pieces and the weapons combined from these pieces to form the MULTIWEAPON.
