Have led teams of project students, from BE/MSc Computer Science and Bioinformatics, towards Machine Learning software development projects in bioinformatics. My role has been to guide the students on feature selection and machine learning research by discussing papers, allocating research tasks, monitoring status, and solving problems with them in parallel. Assisted in lectures and laboratory assignments at 1) Dept. of Computer Science, 2) Center for Modeling and Simulation (CMS), 3) Bioinformatics Center, University of Pune. Have also applied the above algorithms with good performances on competition datasets.
Preparation and review of conference and journal papers
(August 2006-June 2008) Project Engineer(Software Products Group) , Wipro Technologies Bangalore
Product testing/Verification and Validation of build acceptance and regression test scripts for TrendMicro Internet Security product suite.
Development and Automation of data driven test frameworks.
Analysis and mining of log files to determine root causes of test failures.
Bug Fixing and attended code reviews.
