This is a great volunteer opportunity to help the Mascoma Lake Association in their efforts to improve the Lake.

MLA - Clean-Up the Lake Day and Annual Social

Saturday, August 19th 1-3pm, volunteers will gather at four locations on Mascoma Lake at targeted clean-up areas: Mascoma river from town bridge to the Lakeside Park, the two boat launches, and Beaver Point sandbar, accessible by the railtrail off Bridge St. Boats and trucks are welcome but not necessary, plan to be in the water (boots, swimsuit, even mask and snorkel). We will clean the shore and shallow waters, leaders will provide bags. If you can put in a couple of hours to collect trash and recyclables from our lake, please contact Bud Lynch to volunteer: bud.lynch72@gmail.com or 603 632-4046.

Join us for the MLA picnic at the Lakeside Park same day at 3pm, potluck, bring chairs. (raindate for both, August 20th)
