Welcome to My Profile

Hello! I'm Shahriar Mirzadeh, currently serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to this role, I had the privilege of being a Visiting Assistant Professor at Michigan State University. My academic journey in the realm of mathematics reached a significant milestone when I completed my Ph.D. at Brandeis University, under the expert guidance of Professor Dmitry Kleinbock.

My research is deeply rooted in the fascinating fields of Homogeneous Dynamics and Teichmüller Dynamics, with a special focus on applying principles of Ergodic Theory to Number Theory. This interdisciplinary approach allows me to explore and contribute to the understanding of complex mathematical phenomena, bridging the gap between abstract theoretical concepts and their practical applications.
