I work as a Postdoctoral Researcher at INESC-ID with Prof. Miguel Matos. I like to work in areas that touch concurrency and transactions from both, the performance and reliability perspectives.

I did my PhD at Tecnico Lisboa and KTH, as a part of Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate in Distributed Computer program ( EMJD-DC) under the supervision of Prof. Paolo Romano and Prof. Vladimir Vlassov. During my PhD, I also conducted a research internship at Oracle Labs MA.

Previously, I worked on computing infrastructure for Bioinformatics, mainly on the efficient (cost and performance-wise) integration of workflow management systems with cloud computing.
