Submissions
Submitting a Library
To get in the queue:
Submit sequencing requests and access the submission form through iLabs.
Save the form using your sample name (your initials + PI initials + 2-digit number).
Examples: EDJD01, MJPW02-p
Do not use any extra punctuation, spaces, etc. This makes it easier to read the tube labels.
Write the date on the side of the tube.
Put 20ul of your sample in a 1.5ml low bind tube at 5-10nM (this is around 1.5-3ng/ul). For each additional lane, please add an additional 10ul of library.
Label the top of the tube with the sample name and the side of the tube with the date.
Drop off the sample tube to the CAT, and custom primer if needed, in the small freezer on the ground outside the double doors. This is near room S271.
Custom primers: Dropoff 10ul of a 100uM aliquot in a 1.5ml tube. Label it with your sample name + "Primer"
Shipping samples:
Place 1.5ml tubes in a secondary container like a 50ml conical with kimwipes prevent samples from jostling.
