Welcome to Organic Synthesis Lab!

This lab's main research stream is to study on the novel catalytic organic reactions. We will focus our efforts in the discovery of chemo-, regio-, and especially enantioselective reactions displayed by transition metal complexes. In doing so, attention must be paid to the question of atom economy and synthetic efficiency.

Our group also has an interest in developing flexible/printed electronics including thin-film transistors(TFTs), photovoltaics(PVs), organic light-emitting diodes(OLED), and chemical sensors.

Current research projects:

• Develop the novel catalytic organic reaction
• Apply this method to the synthesis of biologically active compounds
• Apply also this method to the synthesis of novel semiconducting materials
